What is it?

• Christian camping is a powerful, exciting opportunity for children to be challenged in their walk with Christ and make new Christians friends but also quite expensive thus potentially making it out of reach for many families. We want to help all students who are serious about it to go! Thus we have created this scholarship.
• A scholarship of up to $200 towards Lake Ann camp for all students going into 4^th-12^th grade

How does it work?

• Participants earn points in four areas
  • Participating in First Baptist Sunday School – 10pts
  • Participating in First Baptist Worship Service – 5pts
  • Participating in First Baptist Awana or Youth Group – 3pts
  • Participating in Memorizing Scholarship Bible Verses – 2pts
• One point=1 dollar
• 10 week program starting February 1 and ends April 5. Early bird registration is due March 15.
• Student can earn a maximum of 200 points/dollars which First Baptist will pay to the camp directly. 

• Its Purpose:

  We have four goals:

  1. To increase participation in our Sunday school program and thereby increase one’s knowledge of God’s Word
  2. To increase opportunities for our students to use their God-given talents in service to the Lord.
  3. To increase one’s summer experience by going to an exciting, energetic Christian Camp
  4. To increase one’s overall pursuit of Jesus Christ and be more like Him in every way!!!!!!!!
